PLC Programmer/Automation Technician
R.E. Phelon Co., a leading manufacturer of aluminum die cast products in Aiken, SC, has an immediate opening for a PLC Programmer/Automation Technician. This position will provide technical support by Designing, building and maintaining production equipment and machinery.
The position requires a candidate with 2-3 years hands-on experience in:
• PLC Programming and Design
• Capable of designing and wiring Electrical Panels
• Read wiring diagrams
• Wiring Machines
• Troubleshooting electrical controls, PLC’s, Pneumatic controls and equipment
• 3-Phase power
• Experience with Robots/Automation and work-cell integration.
• Programming Allen Bradley PLC series, RS Logix, GE Fanuc
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2-years Technical School/Training
• Innovative problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Self Directed and Motivated.
• At-least 2-years of hands-on Programming experience.

Die Cast Process Engineer
R.E. Phelon Co., a leading manufacturer of High Pressure aluminum die cast products in Aiken, SC, has an immediate opening for a DIE CAST PROCESS Engineer.
Qualified Process Engineer applicant must be able to establish/calculate die cast process parameters from process inception to process maturation. Perform gating and runner design along with statistical analysis and DOE. Troubleshoot d/c machines, tooling, assist d/c setup operators, d/c process improvement and train employees. Prospective candidate must have experience with both older and newer models die cast machines. Must have experience operating and understanding process monitor equipment.
BS degree or 2 years Technical College degree in related field and 5 years die cast process experience or equivalent combination of education & experience required.

Maintenance Mechanic
R.E. Phelon Co., a leading manufacturer of aluminum die cast products in Aiken, SC, has an immediate opening for a senior level Maintenance Mechanic. This position will provide technical support by maintaining and rebuilding facility/production equipment and machinery. Strong experience required in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and PLC’s. Must be able to work all shifts and weekends. Minimum qualifications include 7-10 years of Industrial Maintenance experience, any continuing education or training a plus. Work Key assessments required.
